Apple-Group

This a group founded by harlequin1989 this is the person to speak to if you have any problems, suggestions or any other relevent query you might have. Our Group and Chat are both based on Apple and anything to do with Macintosh. This Group/Chat is for everyone that is interested in Apple in any way.

Note: You do not have to own a Macintosh to become a member of this group (this also aplies to the chatroom)

All Deviants will automatically log in as a "WindowsUser" (Guest)
To Become a member of "OSXUsers" or  "LinuxUsers" (Member_Lev1): You must show that you use it, we will not take your word for it.
To Become A "MacEnthusiast" (Member_Lev2): You must watch Apple-Group and prove in your own way that you are an "Enthusiast"

Note: No matter what Operating System you use you can still become a "MacEnthusiast".


Currently the levels of promotion for :#apple: are as follows…

[ AppleAnalysts ]
The Founders of the channel. Have the power to ban, kick, promote and    demote anyone. We are currently not looking for anymore AppleAnalysts.

[ AppleDevelopers ]
The Adminastrators of the channel. Have the power to ban, kick, promote and               demote anyone. We are currently looking for more AppleDevelopers.
    
[ MacEnthusiasts ]
These are the members of the channel. To get to this level you need to follow the rules (by devwatching the Apple-Group and proving you are a mac fan .) We are currently looking for more MacEnthusiasts. To become a MacEnthusiasts you must devwatch the Apple-Group and prove in some way that you are a real Enthusiast.

[ OSXUsers ]
This is the area for Mac users that don't want to, or yet havn't devwatched the Apple-Group but use OSX of any type. To be promoted to this level you must prove you use OSX.

[ LinuxUsers ]
This is the area for Linux (Mac or PC) users that don't want, or yet havn't devwatched the Apple-Group, When you run Linux you have the choice of being in the LinuxUsers or their respective OSXUsers/WindowsUsers group. Again you must prove you use Linux

[ WindowsUsers ]
All users automatically log into this group, this is the equivalent to the "guests" group.

[ AdminBots ]
This catagory is for staff bots, these bots have the power to do all adminastration tasks, no bot belonging to anyone but staff is allowed here.

[ GeneralBots ]
This is the catagory for anyother bot that wishes to be in the chat.

[ BillGates ]
Deviants who have been banned from the channel will be placed here and do not have access to the room.

Promotions past the MacEnthusiasts stage depend on many different things concerning the individual deviant. This includes personality, activity and if they are helpful and trusted. Do not ask to be promoted as people who do will have less of a chance and will most likely be demoted.

Note: No matter what Operating System you use you can still become a "MacEnthusiast".

No derogatory comments about a deviant's age, gender, race or sexual preference.

No excessive or offensive swearing at any time.

ASL's are permitted, however if the person chooses not to disclose these details, do not ask again.

No spamming

English only speaking channel.

No promoting art, chat rooms or other links unless it is permitted by staff. This includes avatars and hyperlinks.

Please do not log into the room twice as the same user (Cloning).

If you become promoted to the level of OSXUser (Member_Lev2), then decide you wish to stop watching Apple-Group you must inform an admin or operator. If you do not, and you are discovered then you will be banned from the room permanently.
